Overview of the programme
This course is based on the internationally recognised and innovative programme awarded by Edexcel- the BTEC Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies is intended primarily for those who are working in or aspire to work in management. This programme is ideal for those who are practicing first-line managers who wish to make a career in management at this level. It focuses on underpinning knowledge and practical skills and will provide you with the opportunity to preserve and build on existing good practice.
Access to suitable management work situations is fundamental to successful completion of this qualification, either through permanent full- or part-time employment or through a collaborative work placement.

Course Structure
As part of the course, students are required to take THREE core (compulsory) units and six specialist units. The programme is organised in conformity with Edexcel requirements.
Duration
Minimum 12 months for the BTEC Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies. However, the programme is flexible and can be extended to a maximum of three years.
Entry requirements
To gain entry to the BTEC Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies you should possess an Edexcel BTEC Certificate in Management, a first Degree, another appropriate professional qualification or experience of working in a management position. International students also need a min of IELTS 6.0 or a pre-sessional Business English course will be agreed.
Costs
£950 per year for UK/EU students; international students- £4500 per year. Bursaries (financial support) may be available
